A gloomy weather forecast gave way to sunny afternoons and cheery dispositions for the thirty high-spirited attendees at Ox-Roast 2001. These pictures capture some of the activity around the club campsite.

Sunny Saturday morning at the dock, waiting for the 10:30am pick-up. Across the lake, Friday night's arrivals begin gearing up for the climbs. Pretty much everyone (except photographers) made it out to the cliff on Saturday. Bruce, busy collecting fees and waiver-signatures before the first boatload departs. Yes, that's our esteemed Section Chair in action. More evidence of sun, as the next boatload waits for a shuttle to the cliff. A mid-morning ambush of canoes trekked through.. ..lots of them. The weather alternated sun/cloud/spittle throughout the day. Bruce & Calvin prepare the Ox-pit. Now things are cooking. Ox, politics, and the official T-shirt. What more could one want? All of the good tent sites were in use.. ..including the custodian's perch. Plus some newer sites were excavated/enhanced.
