Bon Echo Hut Custodians - Summer 2007
The climbing season will be upon us before you know it. Please note the Docking-in, Docking-out and Work Weekends and come out and lend a hand. Thanks again to all who volunteered to be a custodian this year. Go easy on the custodians. They are volunteers and climbing at Bon Echo would not be possible without them. Please follow these few simple guidelines and the guidelines posted in the hut when at Bon Echo:
1. Please be respectful of other guests, the property, the hut and the boat.
2. Carry your share of the load - help the custodian and clean up after yourself.
3. Contact the custodian in advance for reservations and pick-up times.
4. If you want to bring your dog, please inquire when reserving your spot for a two day weekend as to whether dogs are allowed. Dogs are not allowed on long weekends, Ox Roast and some other two day week ends.
When climbing at Bon Echo please do not sling the trees and climb safely. Our privilege to climb at Bon Echo hinges on our behavior on the cliff. The Alpine Club signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Bon Echo Provincial Park every year and it can be revoked at any time
